"Verification needed" when I login to my Meta Business Suite

Step-by-Step to Verify Your Meta Account

  1. Log into Facebook and Go to Account Settings
    • Log into the personal Facebook account that’s associated with your business account.
    • Go to Settings & privacy > Settings > Identity confirmation or visit directly:
    https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools

  1. Check Facebook Business Verification Status
    • Visit the Business Settings page:
    https://business.facebook.com/settings
    • In the left menu, go to Security Center.
    • If Meta is requesting business verification, there will be a Start Verification button.
    • They’ll be asked to upload:
    • A business document (like an ABN registration or utility bill with business name).
    • A business email domain.
    • Sometimes ID verification for the person managing the account.

  1. Check Identity Confirmation (Personal Account)

If it’s not a business issue but a personal one, Meta may want identity confirmation for the profile.
• Visit: https://www.facebook.com/id
• Follow prompts to upload ID (like a driver’s license or passport).

  1. Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Sometimes access is restricted until 2FA is enabled:
• Go to: Settings & privacy > Settings > Security and login
• Turn on Two-Factor Authentication

After Verification

It may take anywhere from a few minutes to a few business days for Meta to review the info. Once approved, access to Business Suite should be restored.
