Testing Your Lead Form Connection with Facebook's Tool

Go to Facebook's Testing Tool Page
Select YOUR Page and Form from the drop down, making sure that it's the same combination as what you've setup in LeadSync in your Lead Forms section.
Click the Preview form link.

Fill in your form with a valid email address and submit,

Enter a valid email address

If you see an error that says "A lead has already been created for this form. To create a new lead, please delete this one." then click the Delete button and try again.
Click then Track Status button.
You should see the following:

NOTE: If the status says "pending", wait 10 seconds then click Track Status again.
LeadSync uses two Apps, Personal Account Access: 1711149865783520 and Business Manager Access: 559339176323491. Please check your Accounts section to see which connection type you have used. If you see an error next to one of these, please send a screenshot to support.
You should receive a test lead to the connection you've setup to this Page/Lead combination.

How to Setup Facebook Lead Ads Email Notifications

The following instructions will show you how to setup email notifications for Facebook Lead Ads using LeadSync.me. This FAQ assumes that you have already created a Facebook Lead ad campaign. You will need to publish a lead form before you set up a notifications using LeadSync.

There are two ways LeadSync can connect to your leads:

Business Manager: if you have a Meta Business Manager account and are a registered admin:[Add a Business Account]
Personal Account: If you’re not using Facebook (Meta) Business Manager to run your lead ad campaigns and have Page admin access.

Please Note: If you’re running lead ad campaigns for another business, you’ll need to have the following permissions:

The page you’re connecting to must be part of a Business Manager account.
You must be an admin or manager of the Meta Business Manager account you’re connecting.
You need Admin or Manager permissions for the page and ad account you are trying to connect.

How to Reset LeadSync's Permissions

If you're unable to see your Facebook Page name in your LeadSync account, then you may need to resets LeadSyncs permissions so it can access to your Pages.

You might have received a warning email from us, or you may have stopped receiving new lead notifications.

To reset these permissions, ensuring we have access to your Pages, please follow the steps below:

Login to your LeadSync Account and go to the ADs Accounts section.
Remove your account by clicking the delete link.
Login to your personal Facebook account that you've attached to LeadSync. Click on the down arrow next to you profile pic in the top right of your screen and go to Settings & Privacy > Setting
On the left of your screen, scroll down until you find the Business Integrations menu item.
Find the LeadSync Lead Ad Notifications app and click Remove. All your form settings will stay in place in LeadSync, so proceed with the popup promts.
Log back into your LeadSync account, go to the ADs Accounts section and add you personal Facebook account that is an admin for the Pages you wish to access. Be sure to give LeadSync permission to acce

I'm not getting lead notifications

Here are the most common reasons why you might not be receiving leads and how to troubleshoot the issue:

**Your Ad is using a different form to the one you've setup in LeadSync: ** Make sure your Facebook Ad is using the same lead form as the one you have setup in LeadSync. This is a common issue, so please make sure the Page/Form you've setup in your Lead Forms area, is the same one you're using in your ad. Here's how to find out what form you're using in your Facebook Lead Ad.
The Email notification has gone to your spam folder. Check your spam folder. Sometimes leads end up in spam. If they do, make sure you mark them as not being spam and add admin@leadsync.me to your address book.
LeadSync is missing the Facebook Permissions to access your leads Sometime we Facebook resets the 3rd party permissions that allow LeadSync to process and send new leads. Here's how to reset them.
There's a spelling mistake in Connection email address: Check that you've spelled the email address correctly in your Connections.

Once you've checked these, run a test on your lead form using Facebook's Lead Ad Testing Tool.

One of the most common reasons we see for people not receiving leads is due to their Facebook Ad using a different form to the one that's been setup in LeadSync.

Here's how to make sure you've setup the same Form in LeadSync as the one you're using in your Facebook ad:

From your Facebook Ads Manager account, find the Lead Ad you're running and edit it. You'll be able to see the form that your ad is using. For this example, my ad is using the form called "LS - 30% Discount Form".

Login to your LeadSync account and go to the Lead Forms. Check that you have setup the same form that you're using in your ad.
