How to Integrate Facebook Lead Ads with Monday.com¶

LeadSync automatically sends leads from your Facebook Lead Ads directly to Monday.com as new board items. When someone fills out your Facebook lead form, their information is instantly created as an item in your chosen Monday.com board — no manual data entry required.

What do I need before setting this up?¶
You'll need: * A LeadSync account (free trial or paid subscription) * A Monday.com account * A Facebook Business Page with Lead Ads enabled * At least one active Lead Ad form on Facebook
Does LeadSync work with all Monday.com plans?¶
LeadSync works with Monday.com plans that include API access. Most Monday.com plans (Standard and above) support third-party integrations.
Connecting Your Monday.com Account¶
How do I connect my Monday.com account to LeadSync?¶
- Log in to LeadSync and go to Connections
- Click Add Connection
- Select Monday from the dropdown
- Enter a name for this connection (e.g., "My Monday.com Account")
- Click Save — you'll be redirected to Monday.com
- Log in to Monday.com and click Authorize to grant LeadSync access
- You'll be returned to LeadSync with your connection active
What permissions does LeadSync need in Monday.com?¶
LeadSync requests permission to: * Read boards — to list your boards and columns for field mapping * Write to boards — to create new items from your leads
LeadSync cannot access your account settings, billing, or other workspace data.
My Monday.com connection failed. What went wrong?¶

Setting Up Your Automation¶
How do I create an automation to send Facebook leads to Monday.com?¶
- Go to Lead Forms in LeadSync
- Click Add New
- Select your Facebook Page from the dropdown
- Select your Lead Ad Form — choose the specific form you want to connect
- Select your Monday.com connection from the destination dropdown
- Select the board and group where you want leads to appear
- Map your fields — match Facebook form fields to Monday.com columns
- Click Save
Your automation is now active. New leads will automatically appear as items in your Monday.com board.
Can I connect multiple Facebook forms to Monday.com?¶
Yes. Create a separate automation for each Facebook form you want to connect. Each form can have its own board, group, and field mapping.

How does the item name work?¶
LeadSync automatically uses the lead's full name as the Monday.com item name. If no name is available, it uses the email address.
What if my board doesn't have the right columns?¶
Add columns to your Monday.com board first, then refresh the field mapping in LeadSync. The new columns will appear as mapping options.
Testing Your Integration¶
How do I test my automation?¶
- Submit a test lead on your Facebook form using the Facebook Ads Manager preview
- Wait 1-2 minutes for the lead to process
- Check your Monday.com board for a new item with your test information
- Check LeadSync logs under your account to see the lead activity
How do I send a test lead on Facebook?¶
- Go to Facebook Ads Manager
- Find your Lead Ad campaign
- Click on the ad with your lead form
- Click Preview on the lead form
- Fill out the form with test data and submit
Troubleshooting¶
Leads aren't appearing in Monday.com. What's wrong?¶
Check these common issues: 1. Is the automation active? Go to Lead Forms and verify it's enabled 2. Is the Monday.com connection working? Go to Connections and check the status 3. Is the correct form selected? Make sure you connected the right Facebook form 4. Is the correct board selected? Verify the board and group in your automation settings 5. Leads are created but some fields are missing¶
Check your field mapping: 1. Go to Lead Forms and edit the automation 2. Verify each Facebook field is mapped to the correct Monday.com column 3. Make sure your Facebook form actually collects the fields you're trying to map 4. Ensure the Monday.com column type matches the data (e.g., email columns for email addresses)
Managing Your Integration¶
How do I edit my field mappings?¶
- Go to Lead Forms
- Click on the automation you want to edit
- Update your field mappings
- Click Save
Changes apply to future leads only — existing items in Monday.com are not updated.
How do I disconnect Monday.com from LeadSync?¶
- Go to Connections
- Find your Monday.com connection
- Click Delete
This removes the connection from LeadSync. Your existing items in Monday.com are not affected.
Can I pause an automation without deleting it?¶
Yes. Go to Lead Forms, find your automation, and toggle it off. You can turn it back on anytime without losing your settings.
