Pages are greyed out when connecting a partner agency¶
When setting up LeadSync for a partner agency, you might find that the page and form dropdowns are greyed out and you can't select anything. This usually means the partner's Business Manager has access to the ad account but not the pages.
LeadSync needs access to the Facebook Pages (not just the ad accounts) to pull in lead forms.
How to fix it¶
The owner of the pages needs to share them with the partner's Business Manager:
- Go to Meta Business Settings and select the Business Portfolio that owns the pages
- In the left menu, go to Users > Partners
- Click Add > Give a partner access to your assets
- Enter the partner agency's Business Manager ID (they can find this in their own Business Settings)
- Select the Pages you want to share (not just ad accounts)
- Assign Full Control access
- Click Save Changes
Once the pages are shared, the partner can log into LeadSync, and the pages and lead forms should appear in the dropdowns.
Tip
You don't need to add anyone's personal Facebook profile as a Page admin. Sharing pages between Business Managers is the recommended approach.
Why does it work for some accounts but not others?¶
If one person can see the pages but another can't, it's usually because:
- The first person has direct access to the pages through their own Business Manager or personal Facebook profile
- The partner only has the ad account shared to their Business Manager, but not the pages themselves
Still not working?¶
If the pages are shared correctly and still not appearing, try resetting your Business Manager permissions in LeadSync to refresh the connection.
