What permissions do I need to use Facebook Lead Ads with LeadSync

The permissions you need depend on which version of LeadSync’s Facebook Lead Ads integration you use:

Option 1. Facebook Lead Ads via Personal Facebook Account Access


For each page you’d like to use with LeadSync, you’ll need the following permissions:

• Manage Pages
• Manage Ad Account
• Leads Access - if Lead Access is customized, ensure to give CRM Access to LeadSync.
• Business Integration Access - To check that LeadSync has business integration access:
• Go to Business Integrations.
• Click View & Edit.
• You may need to contact the Page Owner or Business Manager admin to request these permissions.

Once you have the correct permissions, you can connect Facebook Lead Ads to LeadSync.

Option 2. Facebook Lead Ads (for Business Admins)


For the “Facebook Lead Ads (for Business Admins)” version, you’ll need the following permissions for each page you’d like to use with LeadSync:

• The Facebook page that you’re connecting must be added to a business portfolio.
• Your Facebook account must be added to the business portfolio associated with the ad account and Facebook page.
• You must have Full Control Access for the business asset associated with the ad account and Facebook page.

Once the necessary permissions are in place, you can connect Facebook Lead Ads (for Business Admins) to LeadSync.
