How to Send Facebook Leads to Salesforce¶
Salesforce is the world's most used CRM. LeadSync sends your Facebook and Instagram lead ads straight into Salesforce as Lead records in real time, with your assignment rules routing each lead to the right owner. Salesforce's native Facebook sync can take up to two hours; LeadSync takes seconds.

LeadSync uses the Salesforce REST API, which is included in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions. Professional and Starter Suite orgs need Salesforce's API add-on. LeadSync shows a warning at connect time if your edition does not include API access.
Connect Salesforce to LeadSync¶

Login to LeadSync.me and go to Connections, then click the Add Connection button.

Under Connection, select Salesforce. LeadSync redirects you to Salesforce to authorise the connection.

Log in to your Salesforce org and click Allow on the access screen. LeadSync asks to manage user data via APIs and to refresh its access in the background, which keeps the connection alive without re-authenticating.

You are returned to LeadSync with the connection details filled in. Give the connection a name for your own reference and click Update connection.
Connect your Facebook lead form and map the fields¶

Go to the Lead Forms section and click Add Facebook Lead Form.

Select the Facebook Page and the lead form you are using in your ad, then select your Salesforce connection.

A field mapping table appears, listing your form's questions alongside a dropdown of your org's Lead fields (standard and custom, pulled live from Salesforce). Map each question to the field you want it in, then click Update Notification to save.
Tip
Name, email, and phone are handled automatically. Salesforce requires a Company on every Lead, so when your form does not ask for one, LeadSync fills it with the lead's name. No lead fails over a missing required field.
What happens when a lead arrives¶
- The Lead is created within seconds of the form submission, with Lead Source set to the ad platform (Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, or TikTok).
- Your active assignment rules fire, routing the lead to a rep, queue, or territory automatically.
- Your duplicate rules are respected as configured: allow-with-alert rules save the lead and record the alert; block rules block the save.
Test it¶
Here's how to test your connection. The test lead appears in your Salesforce Leads list within seconds. Note that the default "Recently Viewed" list view can look empty; switch to All Open Leads if you don't see it.
